Topic: Human Rights in Conflict Regions

   - Improving Standards of Human Rights and Protection of Refugees under Regional Conflicts in Middle East

Wide-ranging conflicts have often occurred in Middle East after 1948. The Israeli–Palestinian conflicts (Arab-Israeli Wars) has turned many people homeless, making refugees flee to nearby countries. Until 2015, we can still find numerous refugee camps in region, such as, the Gaza strip, Jordan, Lebanon, the West Bank and Syria, because of religion, water right, Jerusalem or border conflicts etc. In order to stabilize the conflicts and solve the refugees problem in Middle East, countries involving in the Israeli–Palestinian conflicts, the US, EU, China and many other countries have held multilateral negotiations several times. However, with so many negotiations, the problem of the human rights of refugees and the division of Middle East still exists. Hence, a permanent and effective resolution is still waiting to be discovered.
